I love the design and all about my MacBook Pro. However, there's just one tiny little thing I don't like about the keyboard mapping and that is, there's no print screen button. Because there's no F13 button on the built-in keyboard.

I mean I could live without or speaking more politically correct; I could stand having no scroll lock button, home, end, etc buttons. As I rarely use those anyways (tho they do come in handy sometimes). But with the print screen button. It's a totally different cup of tea altogether.

It's the tool you use for complaining. Literally, if you had any problems. You would just print screen the error message or whatever is going wrong on your screen and you would just pass that onto whoever is responsible for causing the issue. Or you want to show someone something on your screen without giving them access to your machine.

So after putting this issue off (by either plugging in a keyboard with those buttons on it or using another machine with a keyboard that have those keys). I finally decided I have had enough and did some digging around to find a solution to this problem. Fn + alt (Option key) + F11 to capture active window

In VMWare Fusion, there's two ways:

1) From menu bar, select 'Virtual Machine', then select 'Send Key', then select 'Print Scrn'. This method isn't very useful if you're trying to only capture the active window or if you're viewing the Virtual Machine (VM) in fullscreen mode and would be a pain to have to shrink the VM back to window size to access the menu bar. So I recommend the second approach (below).

2) In the preferences of VMWare Fusion, under the keyboard mappings tab. Choose to add a new keyboard mapping and from there choose the desired mapping you like (for me, I prefer to keep things in sync, so I mapped mine to be the same as the bootcamp mapping). But this combination is entirely upto you.
